Dah 3 tahun raya berdua , tahun ni Alhamdulillah, dah bertiga. Our 1st family portrait, sbb xde org nak tolong ambikkan gambar sebelum ni..
Raya tahun ni Asma' raya kat Rawang (kg abah) dulu, rumah Tok & Tok Wan, raya ke-5 baru balik Kelantan (kg ummi) jumpe Nek Ma & Tok Ayah.
Gambar banyak blur, so terpaksalah edit tahap maksima, Gambar tak cantik takpe, yg penting the moment, saat saat manis kita bersama.
You are 6-month old now Asma', dah pandai nak merangkak, lutut dah boleh gerak dah tapi tangan tu tak reti lagi nak menapak, xpe slowly lah ye sayang.. Dah start weaning, makan bubur nasi & nestum.. nyumm nyumm.. Dah x suka duduk dalam stroller, nak dukung je, lenguh tau sbb Asma' dah berat.

A Beautiful Story for My Darling

Why do we read Quran, even we can't understand not even a single Arabic????
This is a beautiful story for you my darling Asma'.
An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quran.
His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.
One day the grandson asked, "Grandpa, I try to read the Quran just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the Quran. What good does reading the Quran do?"
The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water."
The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house.
The grandfather laughed and said, "You'll have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch the boy try again.
At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he
reached his grandfather the basket was again empty.
Out of breath, he said, "See Grandpa, it's useless!" "So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "Look at the basket." The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket
and was now clean, inside and out.
"Son, that's what happens when you read the Quran. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives."
Berat Asma' 6.5 kg. Anak ummi ni baru baik demam, batuk & selsema. Sekarang ni Asma' dah laju dah mengesot kan badan ke depan & belakang. Semalam Asma' dah hisap ibu jari kaki.. ish awal sangatlah sayang... huhuhu

Kalau time meniarap tu, asma' dah boley angkat bontot dah, ummi ingatkan asma' nak push ke depan tapi anak ummi ni 'undur puyuh' le pulak, hahaha

Best Chocolate Cupcakes

My dearest Asma',
This is the best chocolate cupcakes recipe that ummi's found on auntie mamafami's fp. The texture and the taste are the best for me. You can try to bake it on your own when u've grown up someday.. 
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
3/4 tspn baking soda
1/4 tspn salt
1 cup castor sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil (ummi used 1/6 cup butter + 1/6 cup mazola oil to have the buttery taste)
1 egg
1 tspn vanilla essence
3/4 cup buttermilk (ummi used IDEAL evaporated milk)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (ummi used hershey's..)
1/2 cup chopped pecan (optional) - 1/2 to add to the batter & 1/2 to sprinkle on top
Method:
1. Mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda & salt in a bowl.
2. Whisk together sugar, melted butter, oil, milk, egg & vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
3. Make a hole in the middle of the flour mixture. Pour the milk mixture and beat slowly until the batter is smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
4. Scoop batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle chopped pecan on top. Bake in preheated oven at 160 degrees (because ummi used convection oven) for 20 min.

Asma' dah 6 kg dah sayang.. dah berat dah & dah boleh buat tangan ummi lenguh dah kalau pegang Asma' lama-lama. Asma' dah kenal orang dah, tapi anak ummi ni still ok lagi dengan semua orang, cuma time Asma' nak tido je, cayang ummi ni memilih sikit.. nak ummi je, hehe.. Abah belikan Asma' set buku grolier @ Mummy&Me MidValley, moga anak ummi & abah ni rajin baca buku. Ummi will read a bed time story for you every night. We will add some more collection of books for you especially the Islamic books. Harapan kami, bukan saja Asma' jadi anak yang bijak dan pintar, tapi juga anak yang solehah dan taat.

Yesterday, 25th July 2006, it's Asma' 3-months birthday. Pics taken on her sleepy mode.
Her progress so far:
-She has been coo-ing when you talk to her.
-She gave her 1st laugh a few days ago when I said one-two-three to her.. (hmm..don't know what's so funny)
-She has learnt to watch tv especially cartoon and programs on channel 63..pastuh gelak sorang-sorang..
-Love to put fingers in her mouth.. hmm..how to avoid her nih??
-Still wearing her 'barut'..
-And yes, she's now can roll over to lie on her stomach by her own, but still cannot roll over back, haha, but she's still on track if comparing to milestone chart provided by babycenter.com

Baby's Day Out

Hari sabtu baru ni, 8/7/06 Asma' pertama kalinya pegi klcc. Hehe, best je title tu "Baby's Day Out" tapi yang sebenarnya ummi dia yang nak sangat keluar, almaklumlah dah setahun x gi klcc sejak pregnant dulu, hihi. Dan hari tu jugaklah Asma' pertama kalinya duk dalam car seat dia, x sangka pulak anak ummi ni suka duk dalam car seat, sampai tertidur sendiri.. Sampai sampai klcc je, ade tourist from taiwan ni asyik dok tengok Asma' je, pastu datang kat ummi cakap nak ambik gambar Asma', pastu x putus putus dok ulang "holeng holeng". Ummi pulak sempat ambik gambar Asma' masa dalam kereta je, hihi, ummi busy la sayang, nak masuk kedai tu lah, kedai ni lah, Asma' tido je dlm stroller, bagus sangat anak ummi ni, memahami, ekeke.. tapi sedey la, ummi xleh masuk kinokuniya sbb stroller Asma' besar pastuh org ramai sangat, abah je yang masuk, xpelah sayang nanti Asma' besar, ummi bawak Asma' masuk kinokuniya yek, best... Macam biase, kalo nak solat, pegi la surau kat tingkat yang paling atas tu kan, rupa-rupanya surau dah pindah kat tingkat bawah Sementara tunggu abah solat (kena gilir-gilir la sekarang), ummi bawak Asma' masuk baby's changing room dekat dengan surau tu, canggih jugaklah, nak masuk kena tekan loceng dulu... dalamnya pon luas, ade toilet, air panas, tempat BF, sofa utk ummi duduk berehat, and of course tempat utk change your diaper. KLCC ni mmg best tapi satu je yang x best bagi ummi, toilet dia takde pili, bencii.. so, mmg ummi xleh duk lama-lama kat klcc tu, pukul 4 dah balik dah..
